Description
Our 2-day safari offers a spectacular journey through two of Tanzania’s most distinct wildlife areas: Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. The first day starts in Arusha and takes you to Tarangire, a park renowned for its massive elephant populations and striking baobab trees. You will spend the day tracking wildlife across the savannah before heading to the town of Mto wa Mbu for your overnight stay. This itinerary allows you to experience the transition from the bustling local culture of the town to the quiet majesty of the national parks, providing a well-rounded introduction to the region.
On the second day, you will descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site that serves as a natural sanctuary for a dense concentration of animals. Inside the caldera, you will have the chance to see a wide variety of species in a single morning, including the rare black rhino, prides of lions, and huge herds of wildebeest. After a scenic lunch inside the crater, the tour begins its return journey to Arusha, arriving in the evening. This 2-day trip is the ideal balance of adventure and efficiency, covering two "must-see" destinations with the expertise of a professional guide.
