After you submit your application we will review it and contact you within three working days to provide any additional information. Then we will send you your confirmation. Once you receive your confirmation the registration fee is due within seven days. The program fee is due six weeks before you arrive.

$235 USD per week in a dorm
$295 USD per person, per week in a double room shared with a friend or partner

Additional donations for the following volunteer projects:
- Mbwa Wa Africa requires an additional donation of $100 USD for first 4 weeks and $25 USD per week after that. This pays for resources such as food and medicine for the cats and dogs.
- Elang’ata Agrovet requires an additional donation of $100 USD (one-time donation) to pay for resources and general maintenance fees.
- Seliani Hospital requires an additional donation of $200 USD per month for resource funding and hospital support.
- Oltrumet Hospital requires an additional donation of $100 USD for hospital support and resource funding.
The registration fee includes:
- pre-arrival support through email, WhatsApp, telephone and video calls
- advice and guidance about the projects
- pick up at the airport or bus station on your arrival
- drop off at the airport or a bus station when you leave
- an orientation tour in Arusha personalized to your individual needs, including help buying a local sim card, guidance on how to use public transport and lunch
- on the first day of your project our volunteer coordinator will come with you to show you which public transport to take, and make sure you settle in well at your project

*We donate a part of the registration fee to our Viva Tanzania Volunteer’s fund. This fund is used to help the projects we work with when they have extra expenses they cannot afford. For example, medical and veterinary costs, utility bills, salaries and more.
The program fee includes:
- Accommodation in our hostel according to your choice
- breakfast and dinner seven days a week
- 24/7 support from our staff who speak English and German
Additional costs:
- a volunteer visa, US$50 or US$100 for US citizens, for three months (always check with your local embassy first)
