Volunteering & internship projects in Tanzania
There may be no better way to experience a country than volunteering. It provides you with a more authentic look into everyday life and allows you to immerse yourself into the culture. At Viva Tanzania, we have 15 different projects for you to choose from whether you want to work in projects created to support education, health, women & youth empowerment and animal & environmental welfare and gain experience that will be valuable to you for the rest of your life.
Choose from working in a kindergarten and helping with a child’s first introduction to school or gain medical experience in a hospital with a completely different way of working than what you are used to and many more projects. And don’t worry if you can’t decide on just one project, we’re super flexible so you can work at as many projects as you like if you have the time. Maybe you’d also like to help at a project for children with disabilities, or experience cuteness overload at our Animal Welfare program, or perhaps learn how you can make a difference in the world thanks to our environmental project; here at Viva Tanzania we have it all. You’ll never be left alone here or in a situation that makes you uncomfortable, so don’t let your fears stop you and register with us today!
The team at Viva Tanzania will also make sure that you have the opportunity to experience Tanzania outside of volunteering and will help you organise safaris, mountain treks or a number of fun day trips.
